The McClendon Bill (House Bill 143) is scheduled for a public hearing next Wednesday morning, March 25, in Austin at 8:00 AM in E2.026. This will be heard by Frank Corte Jr's
committee-Defense and Veteran Affairs. The hearing location and additional info can be found at http://www.legis.state.tx.us/.

We could use a lot more people up there!!!!!!!! This bill will determine what restrictions will be put on the usage of your own land. You need to make your voice and opinion heard! If you don't act now, you may be told you cannot do a variety of things you might later wish to do...such as cut trees, develop your land, put up security lighting, etc. Your property will lose significant value!!!!!
